Drapeworks supplies and installs custom curtains and blinds in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect through drapeworks.sg, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to align with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
The quote form on this site does not send anything to us by itself. It takes what you type — your name, phone number, your email if you choose to give one, and any message — and opens WhatsApp with that text prepared for you. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in WhatsApp, and nothing you type is stored on this website.
We do not collect payment details through this website. We do not ask for identification numbers, and you should not send them to us.
We use the details you send us for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, arrange an on-site consultation, and prepare a quotation. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without you asking us to.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site — which pages are read, how long people stay, and which sources bring them here. This is collected in aggregate and helps us decide what to improve. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
We also advertise on Google. When you arrive from one of our ads and then contact us — by submitting the quote form, or by tapping a WhatsApp, Telegram, phone, or email link — we record that as a conversion through Google Tag Manager and Google Ads. This tells us which adverts are worth paying for. It records the fact that contact happened and the channel used; the contents of your enquiry and any conversation on WhatsApp or Telegram are not sent to Google. These services set cookies in your browser.
You can opt out at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally either way.
This site links out to WhatsApp and Telegram so you can message us directly. If you use those links, your conversation takes place on those platforms and is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. The only third-party scripts we run are the Google services described above — Analytics, Tag Manager, and Ads.
Because the quote form hands off to WhatsApp, an enquiry sent that way reaches us as a WhatsApp message and is handled on Meta's servers under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email or call us using the details at the end of this page. Your enquiry is visible only to our team, and we do not sell your details or share them with anyone else.
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to serve you and to honour any warranty or remake obligations on work we have carried out. Enquiries sent by WhatsApp remain in that conversation thread. If you would like your details removed sooner, tell us and we will remove them.
Under the PDPA you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent for us to keep using it. Email us and we will action the request.
